Monday and the new weekly candlestick. The candlestick, which, unfortunately for the part of players, which is bullish, does not herald any further growth. Bitcoin not only failed to break above the current local resistance, but also started the new day with the collapse, which, apparently, is the result of an unsuccessful retest of the key level. Buying activity remains low, so the first cryptocurrency can't break out of the current downtrend.
There is a high probability that the next move of the major digital asset will be the support retest at $40,000, after which the next important zone for the first cryptocurrency will be the range around $35,000-$37,000.
The situation could be changed by the intervention in the game by the whales, however, even they will not bet money on the possibility of growth, at least until they are convinced that bitcoin has reached the local bottom. And that is quite problematic, especially because right now, the biggest digital asset is under pressure from the "Head and Shoulders" formation, which includes both short-term bullish rebounds and a prolonged flat. However, all of them, in the end, will end up with the collapse below the current support at $40,000, which in the long run, threatens us with even bigger drawdowns.
